When I’m not making content, I’m somewhere making content! This time, it's for my YouTube channel. A few weeks ago, some friends and I completed a personal challenge; 5 National Parks in 5 days! We traveled to Utah and Colorado for Black Canyon of the Gunnison, Arches, Canyonlands, Mesa Verde, and Capitol Reef National Parks. As I’ve mentioned before, I have a life goal of visiting all the US National Parks and documenting them through photo/video. In addition to documenting my day, I also made it a mission to create commemorative photos at the official park signs. 5 more parks down, 5 more photos, 5 more new awesome shirts, and 5 times the more work to do on videos. But, who am I kidding; I love this!!!
Here are some clips from each National Park. We had an absolute blast and pushed ourselves to the limit. And, I got so much fun content!
Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park
This one was the first and all about a massive hike. My buddy and I hiked to the bottom and back with a wilderness pass. I wanted to get this one out of the way first so we'll have the legs for it. Mission accomplished!
Arches National Park
This one was the most popular and second easiest to explore. The arches were a lot bigger than I thought. We made a great day out of it and my hat was the star of the show! 😎
Canyonlands National Park
This one was the easiest to explore, trails and all. Its mostly drives and overlooks but there's plenty to see! To make it more interesting, my buddies and I got some seriously risky shots. You can say we were living on the edge! Ha... Ha...
Mesa Verde National Park
This one reminds me of Machu Picchu; but much much smaller. Navigating the latters and tunnels inside the site made things a lot more interesting. And we saw the most beautiful lizard. Learning about the natives to the site made this trip all the more special.
Capitol Reef National Park
I had no idea this one existed... While planning the first 4, I noticed that this one was very close so I threw it into trip. Apparently, its a seabed that hit some cliffs. A big mix of coral reef and rock. And, they have fruit pies It was the furthest out from where we were but I'm happy we made it!
Commemorative clone photos!
